The Northern coast of Egypt is on the Mediterranean, the largest city (Alexandria) has the typical Mediterranean style and architecture. The rest of the coast, all the way to Libya, is full of beautiful beaches, some archaeological and war relics, and lots and lots of good weather.

The relic in this photo, Taposiris Magna from Roman times, is around 50 Kms West of Alexandria, it is actually quite interesting to walk around.
