Cairo is huge, it is one of the biggest cities in the world, and until they introduced unleaded fuel, it used to be one of the most polluted. The official population is 17 million, but it feels much more than that. Everywhere you look in Cairo, you will see people. It also has loads of attractions, and has it's own character, it is a must see for a place collector. There are so many types of architectures in Egypt that I put a separate page for architecture. Greater Cairo is divided between the Cities of Cairo and Giza, within these two cities, there are a few districts, such as Mohandeseen, Heliopolis, Down Town, Old Cairo.
